Raider Youth Football is available to all incoming 3rd through 6th graders for the upcoming school year from Logan View Public Schools and Scribner-Snyder Public Schools wishing to participate in tackle football.

Raider Youth Footbal is a member of the Great Plains Youth Football League (GPYFL).

Team Divisions

PeeWee: 3rd and 4th Graders

Jr. Midget: 5th and 6th Graders

When

Registration for the upcoming season is open from May through June.

Season takes place from late July through early October.

Where

Practices are held at Logan View High School Practice field.

Home games are at the Logan View High School.

Practices

Team practices are typicaly held twice a week, starting the last week of July and continuing throughout the season.

Games

Games are scheduled by the GPYFL and consist of 5 regular season games, followed by post-season play.

Games are played on either Saturday or Sunday each week of the season.

Jerseys

Shoulder pads, jerseys, and padded pants are provide to each player by the program.

It is the responsibility of every player's guardian to supply their player(s) with a certified and proper fitting helmet. Certified helmets may be purchased from any dealer. Any certified brand is acceptable. Helmets must be a white shell with gray facemask. (Any player using a helmet from a previous season or used is responsible to make sure the helmet is properly certified.)

Players are also required to supply their own properly fitted mouth guard for both practices and games.

Participation Cost

Participation fee is $100 for each player registered, and must be recieved before a player's registration is considered complete.

Financial assistance is available, as it is the program's goal to allow all individuals who wish to participate, able to do so.

Volunteer Requirements

In an attempt to allow all families to show their support for our players, a separate, refundable, $100 check payment for each household is required. This refundable payment is not due until the start of the season, and will be discarded if volunteer service is completed.
